Woodshop Joy, LLC ("Woodshop Joy," "we," "us") builds custom, handcrafted mobile event carts in the Rochester Hills, Michigan area. This policy explains what information we collect through our website at woodshopjoy.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Contact / inquiry form: your name, business name, email address, cart type, timeline, fulfillment preference and message. This form does not collect phone numbers and does not opt you in to text messages. After you submit, you may optionally share a callback number on our follow-up page; it is used only to contact you about your inquiry and is not an SMS opt-in.
- Chat widget: if you use the chat widget, we collect the information you choose to share, such as your name, mobile number and message. The widget includes a separate, optional marketing consent checkbox for text messages (see "Text messaging" below).
- Basic technical data: our hosting and form-processing services log routine technical information such as browser type, for security and troubleshooting.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry, prepare quotes and communicate about your cart build.
- To manage our customer relationships (we store inquiries in our customer database and CRM).
- With your separate, express consent, to send promotional text messages (see below).
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use affiliate marketing and we do not buy or sell leads.
Text messaging (SMS)
If you expressly opt in through the marketing consent checkbox in our chat widget, Woodshop Joy, LLC may send you promotional and marketing text messages such as special offers, discounts, event promotions and service announcements.

- Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
- Marketing consent is collected separately and is not bundled with transactional consent.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except with service providers acting on our behalf solely to deliver the messages you have requested.
Service providers
We use a small number of service providers to run our website and communications, including website hosting, a secure inquiry database, email delivery, and LeadConnector, which provides our CRM and chat widget. These providers process your information only on our behalf.
Data retention & your choices
We keep inquiry and customer records for as long as needed to serve you and meet legal obligations. You may ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your information by emailing woodshopjoy@gmail.com.
